![]() ![]() I just can't believe how much Game Freak's latest cheap, ugly, tragically rushed dumpster fire still sells. I hope Nintendo/TPCi suffer severe backlash for this and reconsider how they approach the Pokémon IP moving forward because this is inexcusably pathetic. I would have been perfectly happy to wait another console generation for TPCi to get their act together if it would have made it less burdensome on them to explore the open world concept (which paled in comparison to the less "open" Legends Arceus before it, which is still a lot of fun to play after nearly 300 hours, while I got bored/frustrated with Scarlet/Violet after a week). Hell, I played it again the other night and the smooth performance and visuals felt, dare I say, refreshing off the back of the often ugly and janky trainwreck that is Scarlet/Violet. You can argue that Sword/Shield were underwhelming all you like, but at least they weren't broken. I'm so sick to death of people making excuses for massive corporations. Reward anti-consumer practices, win anti-consumer prizes. ![]() Imagine paying the exorbitant asking price for the upcoming DLC upfront, whose first wave isn't even due for another 7 months or so (I'll said it again, the absolute freaking nerve for such a broken game!), only for said broken game to then thank you by destroying your save data (which isn't preserved by the cloud backup feature of your PAID online subscription either). With us being unable to, I imagine Nintendo and GF would also be working to narrow it down." It's not GO, or buying the DLC.I, and many others including friends who are far more skilled than I at this sort of thing, have been trying everything to replicate it to no avail. It's very, VERY, rare We do not know the cause. That I can guarantee as last week I messaged them myself about it. "Right so obviously people are wondering about the save data glitch, and rightfully so. In the meantime, it's believed to be a "very, very rare" scenario, if you do encounter it. In a slight development, webmaster Joe Merrick has mentioned on social media how The Pokémon Company is aware of this latest report. While there's an update on the way for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that will address some bug issues tied to eggs, there's been no mention about a fix for the reported corrupted save file problems. Glad this is getting fixed, even though it's super rare" "Getting reports of more people from outside of Japan who reported the save bug getting contacted for their saves to be restored. webmaster Joe Merrick has provided another update about this issue via social media:
